This past weekend Global Exchange and California Student Sustainability Coalition  brought students from all over California to San Francisco State University for 3 days of campaigning workshops, media training, and networking opportunities to take back to their campuses and communities and continue their work to curb climate change. The weekend came together with a rally supporting Prop H with Julian Davis, Ross Mirkarimi, Mark Leno, and 100’s of students. The rally included wind turbines being erected, supporting public transit at a near by Muni station, with chatting singing and street theatre. It was a perfect example of the next generation taking the steps to secure clean energy for their future.
